About Bowen
Bowen Summer is a 4th Generation Bradenton resident and a proud graduate of Manatee High School where he played football, ran track and was selected to the Manatee High School Hall of Fame. He then went on to play football at the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY where he graduated with his Bachelor's Degree.
After college, Bowen worked for General Dynamics NASSCO managing ship construction in San Diego, CA. Bowen attended one year of law school at the University of San Diego before transferring and graduating from Stetson Law School in Gulfport, FL.

Outside the Office
Bowen is an Officer in the United States Naval Reserve and an active volunteer with the youth at a local Bradenton church. Bowen and his wife Shaelyn are the proud parents of four wonderful children, Mason, Malachi, Saylor and Maverick.
